![]() ![]() Over a stile and you will see a shallow stream. With the Manor in sight, but not quite there, turn left to go downhill on a wide green track. Keep straight on on this road until you are nearly at Wilderhope Manor (ignoring a stile to the left). As you walk along the road you see breathtaking far reaching country views. Soon you will reach a road, turn right here, following the road. You see this view of Wilderhope Manor on the walkĪs you are about to leave the coppice, duck under a broken wooden gate and take the fork uphill to the right. You walk through the coppice for around half a mile (10 minutes). After a short distance turn left an over a stile into the coppice (woodland), following the blue arrow to “Longville Coppice Walk”. Turn right (before the woods) following a blue public footpath sign “Longville Coppice Walk”. Keep the hedge to your right and continue until you reach the woods. Go through another kissing gate into the next field. Once out of the car look for a kissing gate near an old water pump. ![]() Park in the car park to the left of the farm. ![]() Drive along the narrow lane, turning left at the National Trust sign for Wilderhope Manor. From the direction of Much Wenlock, as soon as you reach the village of Longville turn immediately left (it is not signposted from this direction). Wilderhope Manor is off the B4371 Much Wenlock/Church Stretton Road.
